It is the most beautiful day! The mid 70's is in my opinion the perfect temperature. In my part of the world that is not always the case, but spring and fall bring several perfect days like today. I have had to work in my home office the biggest part of my day but am finished with that until tomorrow. My hard working hubby called and has to meet a customer a little ways away, so dinner will not need to be ready as early so that will allow for a little more time to enjoy the weather. I think I will visit my perennial garden after this post.
I was just reading I Cor. 6:20 "For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
I am a child of God, redeemed, with the promise of an eternal home in heaven because I was purchased, paid for, by Jesus' blood. Because he did this for me, I can at the very least obey this command to glorify Him. My body and spirit belong to God - that is why when we who are saved, are not living for Him, glorifying HIm, there is unrest, dissatisfaction, even health issues. I want to glorify Him today and always. He is worthy of all our praise!
AMEN Sister Jackie!!!

1 Cor. 6:19-20 are my focus verses for 2010. I even had a bracelet inscribed with the reference so that I could look upon it and remember.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that beautiful weather. It's already very hot here in eastern NC.
Thanks for stopping by the blog. You are always welcome there.

Yes, He is worthy of all praise and honor and glory. I'm so glad Elaine of Peace for the Journey commented above. I love Elaine as a sister in Christ. She writes beautifully too. I have her book too.
ReplyDeleteI live in Phoenix, AZ so it's very hot here now. Thankfully we have air conditioning but I miss sitting outside watching the birds.
